2. What data do we process, for what purpose, and on what basis?
We process your data for several purposes, depending on how you use our store:
- Order Fulfillment: When you place an order, we ask you for the data necessary for its execution (name, surname, address, VAT ID for an invoice, e-mail, phone number). The legal basis here is Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (necessity for the performance of a contract).
- Customer Service: When you contact us via the contact form or e-mail, we process the data you provide to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
- Marketing and Newsletter (GetResponse): If you consent, we will use your e-mail address to send you information about new products, promotions, and interesting facts related to our products. For this purpose, we use the GetResponse system. The legal basis is your voluntary consent (Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Analysis and Website Improvement (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity): To make our site better and more intuitive, we analyze how you use it. We collect anonymous information about your visits. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which consists of improving our service.
3. Detailed Information on Cookies
Our store, like most websites, uses cookies. These are small text files stored on your device. We use them to ensure the proper functioning of the site and for analytical and marketing purposes.
- Essential Cookies: These are necessary for the proper functioning of the store, e.g., to maintain the contents of your cart. You cannot disable them.
- Analytical Cookies: They allow us to understand how you use the site, what is popular, and what needs improvement. For this purpose, we use the following tools:
- Google Analytics 4: We collect anonymized visit data, such as the number of users, time spent on the site, or traffic source. This helps us measure the effectiveness of our actions.
- Microsoft Clarity: This tool allows us to see “heatmaps” (where you click most often) and watch anonymized session recordings. This enables us to identify technical problems and improve the site layout to make it more convenient for you.
- Marketing Cookies:
- GetResponse: Cookies from this tool allow us to measure the effectiveness of our e-mail marketing campaigns (e.g., checking if you opened an email and clicked a link).
You can consent to the use of analytical and marketing cookies via the cookie banner. You can also always change your browser settings to manage cookies.
4. Who is the recipient of your data?
We only share your data with third parties when it is absolutely necessary to provide our services. These are:
- Courier and logistics companies: DPD, UPS, DHL, and other operators listed in our Terms and Conditions – to deliver your order.
- Payment operators: Stripe, Klarna, PayPal, Przelewy24 – to process your payment.
- Providers of marketing and analytical tools: GetResponse, Google LLC, Microsoft – on the principles described above.
- Entities handling our accounting.
All these entities ensure an adequate level of data protection, in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR.
5. How long do we store your data?
Data related to orders are stored for the period required by tax and accounting regulations (usually 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the tax obligation arose). Data processed on the basis of your consent (e.g., in the newsletter) are stored until you withdraw it. We store analytical data for a period that allows us to analyze trends, usually no longer than 26 months.
